Humble is a city in Harris County, Texas, about 18 miles north of downtown Houston, near the western shore of Lake Houston and immediately adjacent to George Bush Intercontinental Airport. The incorporated city is compact, with roughly 16,000 residents, but it anchors a much larger northeast Harris County community — the broader Humble-Atascocita-Kingwood area is home to well over 100,000 people.
