Marble Falls Real Estate Highlights
On Tuesday, August 16, 2022, Marble Falls City Council approved the $750 million Legacy Crossing mixed-use development that will have over 1,300 homes, 250 multi-family units, and commercial and retail space. The community will cover 546 acres at the southeast corner of Highway 281 and State Highway 71.
According to the report, the site plans show the development will have over 800,000 square feet of retail and commercial space on 115 acres. An apartment complex named "Flatz 281" will develop 264 units on 13 acres of land, and 1,343 single-family homes will be placed on the remaining acreage.
Downtown Marble Falls will soon be home to The Ophelia Hotel Marble Falls, A Tapestry Collection by Hilton Hotel. The $36 million and nearly three-acre property is expected to open in early 2024, close to the banks of Lake Marble Falls.
Situated on Lake Marble Falls, the new hotel will feature:

Marble Falls has launched a development effort aimed at coaxing more retail outlets into the community on land cleared off US 281 in the southern part of the city.
Panther Hollow Village will be comprised of several commercial development sites adjacent to an apartment complex, known as the Residences at Panther Hollow.
Preliminary plats at the location for the commercial development are prep for five retail/ restaurant pad sites. Two are currently under contract. The nearly 10-acre site is zoned for general commercial (GC) and has the potential to be subdivided into half a dozen lots with right- of-way for access and improvements.
Real estate brokers and developers hope to capitalize on the highway access and visibility as well as growth indicated by the area's new construction, sales tax receipts and the community's tourism draw.
